Network for Product Development Research and Education in Sweden
During two days, industry and academia with interest in product development gathered in Gothenburg for a workshop arranged by Professor Ola Isaksson of Chalmers.
The objective was to bring together academic and industrial actors to identify trends in society, business and technology, and identify priority actions for education, research and industrial change in the area of product development.
On November 30, a PDA workshop was arranged at Design Sciences, LTH, together with national cluster for product modelling; SIG-PM. Focus was set on shaping product development research in Sweden for the next 20 years to come, i.e. to create a vision for 2038 and ways to get there.

November 14, the first Product Development Academy day was held at Chalmers Virtual Development Laboratory.
The day gathered some 30 representatives from industry and academia interested in the future of product development.
